Photography Sessions
My goal is to come to where you are and document the beautiful little moments that make up the fabric of everyday life. My hope is that your images bring you joy and provide future generations with timeless photographs.
How it Works

01. Connect
It all begins with a connection. I start every inquiry with a 20-minute scheduled phone call to get to know each other, and discuss your vision and what you’re hoping to get out of your photography session. We will then discuss how we can accomplish our goals together!

02. Collaborate
Our next step is to start planning what your photography session will look like. To make sure your session is tailored to you and your family, you'll receive a questionnaire to fill out prior to your session. Additionally, my photo session guide comes free with every session, which includes lots of information and tips to prepare for your session.

03. Create
After all of the planning, we get to the day of your session feeling relaxed, prepared, and excited to see the fruits of our labor come to life! It will be relaxing, it will be fun, and it will most certainly be full of love. Here, we will create some magic together.

04. Cherish
This is what we’ve all been waiting for! within three weeks, you’ll receive a link to your included digital downloads, and access to my online store to browse beautiful, curated professional-quality prints, albums, and gifts for purchase.

Given the beautiful colors and temperate weather, spring and fall are the busiest times of year for outdoor family photos in North Carolina. If you'd like a session during one of those times (especially if you want a weekend spot), please get in touch as soon as possible! If you have a particular date or holiday by which you need prints or gifts (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Hanukkah, Christmas, etc.), be sure to book a date at least one and a half months in advance of that date to ensure sufficient time for editing and printing.

I recommend that sessions take place at your home, so that you have everything you need to be comfortable at your fingertips. We’ll do some indoor photos, and then pop outside your home to your yard or a favorite local spot and have some fun. If you’d like to have your session other than your home instead (outdoor-only), I’m happy to provide some suggestions of beautiful places around the area.

I am a natural light photographer, so I will put emphasis on the time that our sessions take place. Mornings and evenings are preferred to harsh midday light. But I will ultimately leave it up to your family to decide if mornings or evenings work best for you.

My current fee is $600 for a family session. This fee includes a 90-minute photography session, 40 edited, high-resolution digital images, and access to my print shop where you can browse exclusive, professional-quality print items for purchase.

I do! I typically offer mini-sessions at an outdoor location in the fall. Sessions typically get booked up pretty quickly, so make sure you sign up for my newsletter below so you’re alerted when booking goes live!
